series will receive an Oreo update.
He revealed this at the start of the Zenfone 4 selfie in Jakarta on Wednesday (October 25th). Not only the Zenfone 4 series, the previous generation, Zenfone 3 should also get the latest operating system from Android.

for these Asus smartphones in detail. “Updates will be rolled out gradually by the end of the first semester of 2018,” said Galip.
In the meantime, Samsung, which has been working on an Oreo update for its semi-smartphone, should not release Oreo until early 2018. The information comes from representatives of Samsung Turkey, as reported on the GSM Arena website.
Samsung hasn’t exactly specified which phones will get Android 8.0 Oreo
updates first, but it’s estimated that Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 + along with Galaxy Note8 will get them first.
